It primarily operates by automating user interactions with Resy, a digital restaurant reservation platform. The process leverages Resys public API, thereby sidestepping the need for web scraping techniques.

The tool requires the user's Resy credentials to obtain an authentication token from Resy's public API, which is subsequently stored in Dinefys database.

This approach allows for reservations to be made directly through the user's Resy account. To ensure security, the user's password is encrypted and securely stored in Dinefy's database.

Reservation times are displayed in the restaurant's local time zone for user convenience. Users are also given the authority to delete their data from Dinefys database at any moment.

For assistance with the tool or to report bugs or request features, users can reach out through email or use the public board on Canny. Although refunds are not currently available, users can cancel the service at any time.
